As part of our ministry to children, we offer Scooters and Voyagers, a program from Pioneer Clubs. Scooters is for children of kindergarten age and Voyagers is for children in the first and second grades. Our aim in Scooters and Voyagers is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ in everything we do. It is our desire to teach children about God and His love for them through song, crafts, games and Bible time.
Our teaching materials are supplied by Pioneer Clubs, and are rooted in sound, Biblical principles. They give children an understanding that God's Word has authority over all aspects of their life. The Bible is the core of everything we do and is the tool we use to introduce children to Jesus Christ.
This year, our key Bible verse is Psalm 119:105, "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path." Keeping this verse in mind, the kids take part in Bible awards and activity awards each week. The Scooters and Voyagers also enjoy special events such as museum visits, zoo trips, holiday parties, and special guest speakers throughout the year. The groups meet every Wednesday night during the school year, from 7:00pm to 8:15pm at the church. Hope to see you here, soon!
