In High School we continue upon the learning we established in the previous grades. All students have daily Bible classes where they learn scriptural doctrine and the application of the scriptures to daily living. All students also participate in weekly chapel services every Wednesday.

In Mathematics students learn Algebra I and II, Geometry and Advanced Math.

In English, creative writing skills and literature courses continue from grades nine through twelve. Writing skills are emphasized in the High School grades to prepare our students for college.

In History, students are offered courses from Government and Economics to Family Living courses which stress interpersonal skills taught from a Christian viewpoint.

LINC Enabled Classroom
In Science, students learn Chemistry, Biology, Physics and Physical Science. Some science courses have a lab time for a hands-on learning experience, reinforcing what was taught in the classroom. Open Bible also offers three year foreign language courses in Spanish and French.

For some of our High School classes, we use Live Interactive Networking Classes (LINC) hosted by the Bob Jones University. By using the LINC system, we are able to communicate back and forth via satellite with an instructor at a remote site, and the instructor can interact back with the students. It is really a two way satellite classroom broadcast. A facilitator is always present in the classroom at all times to offer personal assistance to the students in the classroom.

In extra-curricular activities, Open Bible offers intra-school athletics in volleyball, soccer basketball and baseball. Open Bible teams compete against other local Christian High Schools. Other activities that Open Bible offers to our High School students are drama presentations, bell choirs, voice choirs, overnight field trips to places like Washington DC, Philadelphia, High School banquets, hayrides, and lock-ins.

Open Bible also offers PSAT and PLAN testing on campus. SAT's are taken off campus at various locations around the Baltimore area. Some of our students also opt to take classes off campus at area Universities and colleges for High School class credit. High School students can also take exams to exempt them from certain college courses.
